You will probably want to remove the two center limbs for these measurements. Simply use a flat edge screwdriver or a coin to unscrew them.

Place the apex of the limbs at the horizon line or vanishing point, and then enclose the object in question within the limbs. Outline the object according to the angle as determined by the two legs and the perspective will be correct.
