For determining Angles Between Objects Or Between Horizontal Or Vertical Lines:
Note that it is not necessary to remove center limbs for this function. Just ignore them when making the angle measurements. We’ve removed them in order to avoid confusion for this explanation.
A. For determining the angle between vertical objects; Place one limb parallel to a vertical line, position the other limb parallel to the object whose angle is to be determined, thereby matching the angle in question. The resulting angle will be correct for any variation in size.
B. For determining the angle between horizontal objects: Place one limb parallel to a horizontal line, position the other limb parallel to the object whose angle is to be determined, thereby matching the angle in question. Again, the angle thus determined will be correct for any variation in size.
C. For determining the angle between objects: Align one limb with one of the objects and the other limb with the second object. The resulting angle will be correct for any variation in size.
